Google Static Maps

Google has finally launched static maps using the Google Maps API. This is something that the Yahoo Maps API has supported for a long time. Static maps are an absolute must for displaying maps on mobile phones (where you can't depend on a good JavaScript implementation). Will try these out on the Nelso Mobile site next week.
